Opening Quarters East: I call the Spirits of the East. As the spring and the dawn promise new life As the sun rises again so shall our loved ones be reborn. Hail and Welcome! South: I call the Spirits of the South The fire of life and the midday sun protect our loved ones. Give us strength to continue knowing our loved ones are safe Until they are reborn again. Hail and Welcome West: I call the Spirits of the West Of the autumn rain, the evening shower and power of emotion. Give us peace in the knowledge our loved ones will be in our Hearts until they are reborn again Hail and Welcome North: I call the Sprits of the North The stability of the earth and the winter darkness Give our loved ones blessings and peace for their Safe return from the Goddess Hail and Welcome Closing Quarters North I dismiss the Spirits of the North, you whose comfort and stability we seek in the dark of winter. Thank you for your comforting presence. Hail and Farewell. West I dismiss the Spirits of the West, emotion of water and the setting sun. Thank you for your presence until we meet again. Hail and Farewell. South I dismiss the Spirits of the South, powers of the midday sun. Thank you for your strength and warmth of purpose. Hail and Farewell East I dismiss the spirits of the East, promising of life's renewal. Thank you for your readiness and aid in the renewal of life once lost. Hail and Farewell |

Opening Quarters East I give the blessing of the East: As all that falls shall rise again, So our friends shall be reborn. The air we breathe, this treasure of our life, the compassionate caring we give each other blesses this circle. South I give the blessing of the South: As our life is like a day, so our friends have passed into the night. The fire of our life, the memories and courage, the strength given to us by our friends, bless this circle West I give the blessing of the West: As the sun sets at close of day, so our friends have left us behind Our tears, salty like the sea, and life, the waters of our mother's womb, bless this circle. North I give the blessing of the North: As the Earth formed us each one, so shall our friends return to the earth once more. Our Mother feeds us and clothes us. She gives us everything and at the last she takes our bodies back. Closing Quarters North The Crone Goddess has reclaimed their bodies for now - But we know they shall soon be reborn, strong, healthy and happy once more: From the North, Farewell! Blessed be. West Remember - Though the night be full of weeping, yet there comes joy in the morning: Cherish your memories, and the love you feel tonight. From the West, Farewell! Blessed be. South Now - go forth and live life with energy and passion, but keep their precious memories in a special place in your heart - until you meet again. From the South, Farewell! Blessed be. East Remember -we shall live again, love again, and recognize one another: From the East, Farewell! Blessed be. |
